Control your Home Assistant smart home directly from your Garmin watch. HassControl is a Connect IQ widget that lets you manage your home automation entities without reaching for your phone. This is a fork (https://github.com/wroblisko/hasscontrol) of the original HassControl by hatl (github.com/hatl/hasscontrol) with the following additions: Changes in this fork: New list-based UI — entities are shown in a scrollable card list (previous/current/next) with small icons, name, and color-coded state instead of the old single-entity-per-screen view with large icon and page bar Disable tap setting — prevents accidental entity activation on touchscreen watches; togglable from in-app menu or Garmin Connect settings Alarm panel support (alarm_control_panel) — armed, disarmed, triggered states with dedicated icons and colors Garage door icons — cover entities with "mdi:garage" icon get dedicated open/closed garage icons Shower icon — scripts/entities with "mdi:shower-head" get a shower icon MDI icon override system — entities with specific MDI icons (garage, alarm, shower, lightbulb, fan, lock, power/toggle) use matching icons instead of generic type-based ones Color-coded entity states — lights show yellow when on, locks show green/red for locked/unlocked, sensors get type-specific colors (red for temperature, blue for humidity, orange for CO2, etc.) Close after action option — automatically exits the widget after toggling an entity Auto-close on inactivity — configurable timeout (0–300 seconds) to save battery if you forget to close the widget Updated device compatibility list for SDK 9.1.0 Supported entity types: Lights, Switches, Covers/Garage doors, Locks, Fans, Valves, Scenes, Scripts, Automations, Buttons, Input Buttons, Input Booleans, Alarm Panels, Sensors (temperature, humidity, CO2, PM2.5, energy, gas, water) and Binary Sensors. Authentication: OAuth and long-lived access token. Supports custom HTTP headers for reverse proxy setups. Setup: Open HassControl settings in Garmin Connect app Enter your Home Assistant URL (e.g. https://your-ha.duckdns.org) Optionally provide a long-lived access token, or use OAuth Set the group name (e.g. "Garmin") matching a Home Assistant group containing your entities Open the widget on your watch and let it sync Scenes can be added manually in settings as a comma-separated list (e.g. scene.movie_night,scene.good_morning). Use "=" for friendly names: scene.movie_night=Movie Night. Requires a working Home Assistant instance accessible from your phone. The watch communicates through the Garmin Connect companion app.
