Description
This data field displays the current slope and total climb or elevation. New version : https://apps.garmin.com/apps/bc22d61a-b39a-4b93-945d-1b78fc43d176 Slope calculation method: Calculate the slope using the altitude value inside Garmin and the 3-second speed average value. (Since Garmin sends sensor data every 1 second, the gradient can be calculated using the formula "altitude difference ÷ speed (1 second speed = distance).") You can increase or decrease the accuracy of the slope by selecting filtering options. However, the higher the accuracy, the slower the reaction. Because it is calculated using speed, it is programmed so that the slope is not displayed if the speed is less than 1. You can select and display the total elevation or the current altitude, and you can change the slope and position to display it. You can change the settings through Garmin Express or the Garmin Connect IQ app.
