Description
NOTE: This app uses ANT+ listeners that may conflict with your sensors. See the section on HR battery scanning. In app settings turn off the options/fields that you dont use e.g. front light/shifting or HR Try to connect all of your sensors first and then try to open the Profile with this datafield on your device This app gets all available sensors connected to your Garmin device and shows their battery. The battery for your HR works like so: 1. When the activity starts, the app opens a temporary ANT channel to search for your HRM. 2. Once found, it reads the battery voltage (and percentage if available) from the HRM's broadcast pages. 3. The channel closes immediately after getting battery data, or after 2 minutes, or as soon as you start moving -- whichever comes first. 4. After the channel closes, the system reconnects to your HRM and heart rate beats resume normally. During the scan, HR beats are temporarily unavailable (~30-60 seconds) because the app's channel and the system's HR channel cannot both connect to the same HRM simultaneously. The scan runs while you're stationary at the start, so you won't miss HR data while riding. Optional rescan on stop: When enabled in settings, the app rescans for a fresh battery reading each time you stop the activity. The rescan is automatically aborted if you start moving again. The battery status for shifting 'should' work with SRAM and Campagnolo, Garmin does not provide API for Shimano shifting :(. App tested on dual sided Assiomas, Garmin HRM200, Garmin RTL515, Garmin speed sensor
