Description
Sixball counts the balls of every over for you, so you can keep your eyes on the game instead of moving six pebbles from hand to hand. Press START for a legal ball, UP for a wide, DOWN for a no-ball and BACK to undo. Wides and no-balls are re-bowled and don't count. The watch gives a short buzz on the fifth ball and a long double buzz when the over is done, so you never need to look down. Behind the counter sits an over-rate calculator. It works out the overs per hour, how far ahead or behind schedule the fielding side is, when the innings is due to finish and when it will finish at the current pace. When play is suspended for rain or bad light, it cuts the overs by your club's fixed rule (one over per so many minutes lost, with optional make-up time) — no Duckworth-Lewis, just the simple club rule. It also keeps track of the bowlers: nobody bowls two overs in a row, and the maximum per bowler follows the format and is recalculated when overs are cut. WHAT IT DOES - Ball counter per over with a buzz on ball five and a double buzz at the end of the over - Wides and no-balls as extra balls, wickets and optional runs - Undo and redo, and a log of every over with its bowler, duration and extras - Bowler rotation: no consecutive overs, maximum overs per bowler per format - Over rate: overs per hour, ahead or behind, due finish time and finish at the current pace - Overs cut after time lost, with make-up time and time allowed per wicket - Innings break and drinks break with a countdown - T20, 40 overs, 50 overs, Test and custom formats; 5, 6 or 8 balls per over - Two-umpire mode that tells you each over whether you stand at the bowler's end or at square leg - Five languages and a glance with the overs of the innings WHAT IT NEEDS - Nothing else: no phone, no account and no internet. Everything is worked out on the watch. - The overs cut follows a fixed club rule; it does not calculate Duckworth-Lewis-Stern targets.
