Why spend time configuring and switching between multiple data screens when you can SmartCycle? SmartCycle intelligently displays the right info at the right time. When riding SmartCycle helps you focus on key real-time stats; when stopped SmartCycle shows you summary stats. No configuration i
What's New
This is the second version of SmartCycle. Highlights of this version: time of day clock is now shown on the main screen, much improved multi-field support for larger devices like the Edge series, improved battery gauge, improved average speed gauge on round devices, support for black backgrounds, and HR zones chart should match Garmin's. See detailed release notes below. SmartCycle is a data field, not an app or widget. You need to configure a screen in the Cycling activity with one data field in it (larger devices can have more than one data field), and add SmartCycle from the list of Connect IQ data fields. See "Customizing the data screens" in your manual or the online manual for your device to see how to do this. If you like SmartCycle and would like to support its development, you can donate at https://www.paypal.me/wpwoodjr Notes: 1) SmartCycle determines what to display based on what sensors are present (watts, cadence, heart rate). 2) SmartCycle displays distance if cadence and watts are both unavailable. 3) On watches, SmartCycle should be placed on a single field screen. On larger devices, SmartCycle can be placed on a screen with another data field, or more on some devices. Try the "B" layouts if your device has them. 4) SmartCycle determines heart rate zones from your Garmin Connect HR profile. Heart rate is displayed in the current zone color. Heart rate zones are accumulated when the activity has been started. 5) The average speed over/under gauge is at the top. When the bar is red and towards the left, you are under average speed, when it is green and towards the right, you are over average speed. The length of the bar indicates how much over or under. The length grows quickly at first, and grows more slowly the faster (or slower) you go. 6) SmartCycle displays kilometers or miles based on device settings. 7) The battery gauge turns yellow at 25% and red at 15% 8) On older devices with less memory such as the FR630, fenix HR, vivoactive, or FR920XT, SmartCycle displays average speed and distance when you stop moving, instead of the extended stats display. 9) Suffer Amount is displayed on devices that don't support Training Effect such as the vivoactive HR. 10) If you are using a web browser to view this page, after clicking the download button above, you may get an error. That is OK, you then need to launch Garmin Connect Mobile on your smartphone and SmartCycle should sync. Be sure you are logged in when you click download. All you need for a training ride is here
I am using it in on an old vivoactive HR and it's the only data field I need. A very smart idea. I plan to switch to a Forerunner 55, but alas it is not supported...can you add it also for this watch? Thank you for the great work in any case.
Does not work on Fenix 6 pro (((
Sehr übersichtlich und gute Nutzung der Farben
Hi, this data field looks almost perfect. I have only two small problems (Edge 830). 1. Varia radar icon in the right top corner is interfering with time of the day. 2. I have no heart and watt sensors connected, but there is still one empty useless field with hr and watt sign while riding.
