Description
Southpaw counts the punches thrown by your watch hand and runs your boxing rounds. The watch's accelerometer looks for the short, hard shape of a punch — a fast push forward followed by a sharp stop — so footwork and guard movement are left out. A 10-punch calibration tunes it to your own power. It then shows what a round timer cannot: how your output holds up. Every round is compared with your first two, so you see the moment your punch rate starts to drop, the trend per round across the session, and how hard your punches still land. Combinations are counted too, and every round is saved as a lap in your activity. WHAT IT DOES - Round timer with countdown, 10-second warning and rest, fully adjustable (or open training without a clock) - Punches per round, punches per minute and your pace against rounds 1-2, live - Output change per round and the trend in % per round - Intensity: average and hardest punch in g, and how it changes over the rounds - Straight versus hooks and uppercuts after calibration - Combinations: count, longest series, 2/3/4+ breakdown - Heart rate during rounds and how far it drops in rest - Saves a boxing activity with punches, punch rate and one lap per round - History of your last 20 sessions, five languages, and a glance with your last session WHAT IT NEEDS - A watch with an accelerometer, worn on the wrist you punch with; only that hand is counted - No phone, no account, no internet
