Description
PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION This data field allows you to see the time remaining until the next point you set on your route. This can be useful for races with time barriers. USE 1. Create or import a track on https://www.plotaroute.com or any other platform that allows you to manage point races. 2. Add notes to your track 3. Define the description with the format TEXT if you don't want a time barrier or TEXT;00:00 if you want a time barrier. 4. Export the route in FIT format See the video (https://youtu.be/5Jj79_KXLDE) 5. Connect your watch to your computer with the USB cable. It should appear in your file explorer, a bit like a USB key (On Mac https://www.android.com/filetransfer/ is mandatory for MTP models). 6. Drop the FIT file of your route in the GarminNew files folder. 7. Disconnect your watch, it will restart. This is a data field and not an application, so you must apply it to an activity. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5IXgyBMuX8) During your activity if you start the navigation of the route you have just created then the data field will use the info contained in the route to display its name and the remaining time you have defined.
