Description

Your whole race on the watch: swim, bike, run and the transitions between them as one recording, with a bar along the top edge that shows how far into the race you are. Triathlon, duathlon or aquathlon – and you pick the order of the legs. Use this tracker for races and brick sessions on a watch without its own multisport profile. Want it customized? Feel free to contact us. Features: - Triathlon (swim, bike, run), duathlon (run, bike, run or bike, run, bike) and aquathlon (run, swim, run or swim, run) - Race distances to pick: super sprint, sprint, Olympic, middle and long distance for the triathlon; sprint and standard for the duathlon; standard for the aquathlon – or your own distance per leg, or no distance at all - BACK moves on to the next segment, like the lap key in a multisport race; the bottom line always says what comes next ("BACK: Bike") - Pressed too early? "Previous segment" in the pause menu takes the change back and counts the time to the segment before - Transitions T1 and T2 as segments of their own, or switched off in the settings - The progress bar: one piece per segment in its colour, sized by its planned time, filling up as you go - Extra: a target time for the whole race. It is spread over the segments, and the top line shows how far you are ahead (green, "-1:20") or behind (red, "+0:45") - The swim's distance comes from a filtered GPS track: a wrist under water makes GPS jump, the filter leaves the jumps out - Every leg with its own tempo: swim per 100 m (or 100 yd), bike in km/h (or mph), run per km (or mi); the units follow your watch - While recording: the race time big, the segment's time, distance, tempo and heart rate; a second page lists every segment so far - Summary after saving, one page each: time per segment, result against the target, distances, tempos, average heart rate - Start and stop only with the START button; a tap does nothing, so water on the screen does not get in the way - Saved as one multisport activity with your GPS track and synced to Garmin Connect, one lap per segment; swim, bike, run and transition time go along as extra fields - The app remembers your last race, distance and target time - Available in 28 languages Good to know: Garmin Connect shows the race as one activity with a lap per segment, not as the linked activities of Garmin's own multisport profile – an app cannot create those. There is no bike power or cadence and no swim stroke count. How to use: 1. Pick the race (for duathlon and aquathlon also the order of the legs) and the distance; confirm each with START 2. Set a target time, or 0:00 for none, and confirm with START 3. Wait until the edge ring turns green (GPS) and press START 4. Press BACK at every change: into the transition, then onto the next leg 5. START stops the recording (on the last leg the bottom line says "START: Finish"); choose Continue, Save or Discard Settings in the Garmin Connect app: transitions as segments of their own (on or off).
