Description
Tyrewise works out the front and rear tyre pressure for your bike from your weight, the bike, the tyre width and the surface you ride. The core is Frank Berto's 15% tyre-drop model, the method Bicycle Quarterly made popular, extended for wide gravel and MTB tyres and checked against published calculator values. Keep four bikes with their own tyres, rims and casings, switch surface in two taps, and read your pump gauge back into the app to see how far your tyres really sag. Tyrewise also corrects for a cold ride when you pump indoors and remembers when you last topped up. WHAT IT DOES - Front and rear pressure in bar or psi from rider, bike and luggage weight and your front/rear weight split - 15% tyre-drop base (Frank Berto), with a width model that carries on to wide gravel and MTB tyres - Real tyre width estimated from rim inner width, or enter your caliper measurement - Six surfaces from smooth tarmac to rough trail, and the pressure for every surface on one page - Tubeless or inner tube, and a 5 bar cap for hookless rims - Gauge check: enter what your pump reads and see the estimated tyre drop, firm, good or soft - Temperature correction: pump indoors, ride in the cold, still hit the target - Four bike presets (road, gravel, MTB, city, e-bike), rider weight from your Garmin profile - Top-up reminder page and a glance with today's pressures - Five languages, metric or imperial WHAT IT NEEDS - Any Connect IQ watch; no phone, no sensors, no internet - Pressures are a starting point: stay inside the limits printed on your tyre and rim
