Description
If your watch is set to miles, everything on screen is in miles — but your race is a 10K. Alternative Distance is a data field that shows your current distance in the opposite unit from your device setting, so you always have both numbers without changing any settings. If your device is set to miles, it shows kilometers. If your device is set to kilometers, it shows miles. How to use * On your watch or Edge, open the activity you want to use (Run, Bike, etc.). * Go into the activity settings and select Data Screens. * Choose the screen and field you want to change, then pick Connect IQ Fields. * Select Alternative Distance. * Start your activity — the field updates automatically as you move
