Description
BrakeAce Data Field shows live front and rear brake strain, temperature, battery, and session maximum on Edge 540, 550, 840, 850, 1040, 1050, Explore 2, and Edge MTB. It connects to two BrakeAce sensors over Bluetooth and writes 8 Hz strain into the activity FIT file. Add the field to a data screen and start a ride. The first sensor found is stored as Front and the second as Rear. Settings can swap them, forget them, or lock a sensor id. Close the phone BrakeAce app before riding so it is not connected to the sensors. After the ride, export the original FIT from Garmin Connect. The Edge does not upload the file to BrakeAce. Requires BrakeAce sensors.
