Description
The data field of the Cailloux app: one press on the lap button drops a pebble, and your watch shows the next point of your race. Cailloux tracks your trail race: your crew and loved ones see you move along the course with every pebble you drop. With this data field: - One press on the lap button drops a pebble, without leaving your activity. - The next point of your race: its type (aid station, water, crew point, life base, checkpoint, finish), its name and the distance left. - The planned time to that point, green when you are on time, red when you are late; the elevation gain left and the planned stop. - Your gap to the plan, and your life base timer. What you need: the Cailloux app for iPhone (open beta: https://testflight.apple.com/join/zsh4UHhJ) or Android (beta: ask admin@cailloux.app), connected to your watch (menu, then Watch), and a race prepared in Le Cairn (cailloux.app). The distance comes from your watch's GPS, matched to the course by your phone. On watches that cannot tell the lap button from auto lap, a lap of exactly 500 m, 1, 2, 3 or 5 km (or 1 or 5 miles) is taken as an auto lap and does not drop a pebble. The Lap Key must be on: in the settings of your activity (Trail Run, Run...), Laps section. If it is off, the lap button does nothing. Add the field to an activity screen, preferably large. Privacy: www.cailloux.app/en/confidentialite.html - Support: admin@cailloux.app Cailloux is not affiliated with or endorsed by Garmin.
What's New
1.2.11 — Your watch's Start button now records your race start in the Cailloux app. Before the start, the field shows "All set for the start" with the first leg: next point, distance, planned time, climb and descent. The next aid station only changes once you've checked in at the current one on your phone. At the finish, a big "Well done!". Works with the latest Cailloux app on your phone.
