Description
ClimbPower turns vertical speed into power. On a climb, the work you do against gravity is simply how fast you gain height, times g, times your mass. Mass cancels in W/kg, so the number is comparable across every hill, staircase and rider — no power meter, no setup. ON THE WATCH • Live W/kg from barometric altitude, 2 / 3 / 5 / 10 s window, smoothed • Switch to watts (uses your profile weight) or VAM in metres per hour • Set a target and the number turns green / orange / red as you hold it • Lap average under the live number — reset on every lap press • Ignores the altimeter's GPS recalibration jumps so you never see a fake spike IN GARMIN CONNECT • Three developer fields in your activity: per-second climb power, lap average and session average, charted beside heart rate and pace Works in Garmin's native activities — add it as a data field to any screen.
