Description

eBikeLink brings data from a compatible Bosch Smart System eBike to your Garmin through the eBikeLink iPhone companion app. Add it as a Connect IQ data field to your cycling activity and keep the information you need in view. Important: iPhone companion app not yet available, eBikeLink is currently in Review by Apple. Direct Bluetooth connection to the bike is experimental and is not yet confirmed to work reliably. Please wait for the official release before downloading. Your eBike. Your data. FOUR VIEWS, ONE DATA FIELD • All: battery, remaining range, rider power and cadence, separated by clear lines. • Battery: battery percentage and remaining range. • Power: rider power in watts. • Pedaling: rider power and cadence together. The layout adapts to the space available in your activity screen. Compact fields prioritise the values; larger fields include more labels. The selected view is shared by every instance of eBikeLink on the watch. REMAINING RANGE AT A GLANCE See the remaining range reported by your bike for the current assistance mode. A coloured dot identifies the mode without adding a confusing mode number. Available data depends on your bike and its configuration. Range is an estimate, not a guarantee. SET UP WITH YOUR IPHONE 1. Connect your compatible bike in eBikeLink for iPhone. 2. Select your Garmin through Garmin Connect. 3. Install this data field and add it to a data screen in a cycling activity. 4. Keep the bike connected and open the eBikeLink data screen on your watch. You can choose a view in the iPhone app or in the field's Garmin settings. The companion app must remain available on your iPhone during the ride; the phone screen can be locked. Do not force-quit the companion app. REQUIREMENTS • eBikeLink for iPhone, with Bluetooth enabled. • A compatible Bosch Smart System eBike that provides the supported data. • Garmin Connect on your iPhone for watch selection. • A supported Garmin watch with Connect IQ API 5.0 or later. This release targets the fēnix 7X family listed under Compatible Devices. This is a data field, not a standalone activity app. It uses your iPhone as a bridge; it does not connect the Garmin directly to the bike. Data availability varies by bike. Missing or stale readings are shown as unavailable. Rider power and cadence are recorded as FIT developer fields when available during activity recording. How those fields appear in Garmin Connect or other services depends on that service; native power graphs are not guaranteed. eBikeLink is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bosch or Garmin.
