Description
Stream your heart rate to FitMetrics on your iPhone while you run, ride or train, and let your Garmin record the activity as usual. FitMetrics is an iPhone app that brings your Apple Health data together on one dashboard. Its Heart Rate Monitor shows your live heart rate as a big number, with training zones and a live chart. This data field sends your heart rate to it once a second during any activity that allows Connect IQ fields. HOW TO USE 1. Install FitMetrics 2.0 or later on your iPhone. 2. In FitMetrics, tap the heart rate button next to Settings at the top of Today. Tap Add a Garmin watch and choose your watch in Garmin Connect. 3. On your watch, open an activity's settings, then Data Screens. Choose a field and set it to Connect IQ, then FitMetrics. 4. Start the activity. Your heart rate shows on the iPhone within a few seconds. The field shows your heart rate on the watch too. It only sends while the Heart Rate Monitor is open in FitMetrics on your iPhone, and stops by itself when you close it. To stream without starting a Garmin activity, use the FitMetrics Live Heart Rate app instead. FitMetrics 2.0 for iPhone is in testing and coming to the App Store. PRIVACY Your heart rate goes only from your watch to FitMetrics on your own iPhone. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else. FitMetrics is not a medical device and is not meant for diagnosing or treating any condition.
