Description

Stripchart is a graph data field for every sport, made with Edge riders in mind. Pick up to three graphs from heart rate, speed, pace, power, cadence and elevation. Each graph shows the current value big, with average and maximum next to it, the scale in numbers on the axis and the time span in the corner. Heart rate and power are coloured in the same zone colours as Garmin Connect (Z1 grey, Z2 blue, Z3 green, Z4 orange, Z5 red), with a zone strip along the axis. The elevation graph is a real profile with numbers: it shows the whole activity by default, with total ascent and descent, the current grade and your climbing speed (VAM, metres per hour). The scale adapts to your ride, so a mountain stage looks like one and a flat ride does not turn noise into hills. Other graphs use a time window of your choice (for example 10 minutes) or the whole activity; long activities are compressed step by step, so the graph always fits. WHAT IT DOES - One to three graphs: heart rate, speed, pace, power, cadence or elevation - Current value big, average and maximum as numbers, axis values and time span on every graph - Heart rate zones from your Garmin profile and power zones from your FTP, in Garmin Connect colours - Elevation profile of the whole activity with ascent, descent, grade in % and VAM - Normalized Power next to the power graph - Time window in minutes or the whole activity; average shown as a dotted line - Optional alert (vibration, beep and full-screen message) when graph 1 stays above a value for 20 seconds - Adapts to every field size, from one number to three graphs on the full screen with clock and elapsed time; colours follow the screen or are set to dark, light or high contrast for bright sun - Grade and VAM are saved to the activity and shown as charts in Garmin Connect, with the maximum VAM in the summary - Works on watches and on every Edge from the Edge 130 to the Edge 1050 WHAT IT NEEDS - The sensors for the graphs you choose (heart rate, power meter, cadence sensor); elevation uses the device altimeter or GPS - How to add: start an activity, open Settings / Data Screens, pick a screen, select a field and choose Connect IQ / Stripchart. Then press BACK until you see the activity screen and scroll to that page. Until the activity has data it shows dashes (--). - On watches with little memory (such as Fenix 6, Forerunner 55, Instinct 2) one graph is shown
