Here are the steps to set it up: +Install app/widget that publishes complications +In Glance Ultra, go to Watch Face/Customize menu on your watch. Select "Custom Complication". +In Glance Ultra settings, select metric "Custom COMPLICATION" That is all. This is a generic approach that will work with any 3rd party complication (like Dexcom). However, it means that there is no special treatment of the returned value - it will be shown as is. Sometimes developers return a long string with lots of encoded data - obviously it will not look good. Ask from developers of your favorite apps to add complications with easy to read data in a glanceable format. - Added back support for Emojis in Custom Text (and in 3rd party complications, if they adhere to the rules below)! For emojis to be recognized, the first character in Custom Text must be an emoji (after that, there can be any characters). Due to Garmin limitation, it will use Garmin stock font, which can be different from the one chosen for the rest of the metrics. - Added UV bar (works on watches that support UV metric) - Added Weather Temperature High/Low metric v1.29 - 2026/05/03 - Applied a workaround to "Unable to save settings at this time" Garmin issue. Please update the app and try again. If you still get the same message, restore one of the User Themes in the Watch Face - Customize menu on your watch, or uninstall and reinstall the app. v1.23 - 2025-09-07 - Added an option to "Hide bar icons" v1.2 - 2025-06-17 - Changed background effect options. The setting is called Spotlight. Hilight on the sides works with AMOLED watches only (except a few of them like FR165 that don't support it). v1.18 - 2025-05-14 Huge update to Ultra. A lot of users asked me for this, but I was putting it off for a while - it wasn't easy to keep theme string compatibility (more on that below): - Individual color settings for ALL metrics and icons - 3 extra fully custom RGB colors - Gradient in TIME (AMOLED watches only) - Added Italic TIME font (but removed Roboto TIME font) As you can imagine, the new color settings changed User Theme strings quite a bit. I made the new format compatible with the old one as much as possible, but you might see some issues, specifically in the top and bottom metrics. It might affect your current colors (though unlikely), but it will certainly affect your saved Themes. I recommend restoring them, adjusting, and re-saving. Also, if you uninstall and re-install the app, all User Themes will be changed to the new stock themes that I created. v1.11 - 2025-04-12 Big update and departure from equality with Glance Dual Screen: - Adjustable and scaleable metrics font (on watches supporting scaleable fonts only) - Bar icons - UV forecast metric Metrics font can be changed only through "Watch Face - Customize" menu on the watch. If your watch supports scalable fonts, you will see "METRICS FONT" option in that menu. If you don't see that option, then your watch doesn't support it. v1.07 - 2025-03-11 - Better gradient under time for some AMOLED screen watches
