Talon HUD is a tactical heads-up display: a big slanted LCD clock in the middle, with readings in rows cut by slanted rules. A red gauge runs down the left edge and a blue one down the right. Five layouts arrange the face, and every slot shows the metric you pick, in its own colour. Press and hold any reading to open that metric on the watch. FIVE LAYOUTS Mirror, Twin, Rails, Quad and Trace each arrange the ring gauges, data rows, fields, battery bar, week bars and trace around the clock in their own way. THE READINGS Four rows and two fields, each a choice of 87 metrics. Two ring gauges and the two edge gauges, each a choice of 83 metrics with its own goal. Among them: heart rate, Body Battery, stress, SpO2, steps, floors, distance, calories, sleep score, VO2 max and race predictions. Also the weather, wind, UV, rain in the next hour, sunrise and sunset, elevation, pressure and a second time zone. THE TRACE AND THE WEEK The trace draws the recent history of heart rate, Body Battery, stress, SpO2, temperature, elevation or pressure as an area, a line or bars. The week bars show steps, floors, distance or active minutes for the last seven days. THE CLOCK The slanted LCD clock, or the time in Exo 2, Tektur, Oswald, Russo One or Rubik. Solid or two-tone, in white, the theme or any of forty colours, with AM / PM and the seconds beside it. Seven clock formats in 12 or 24 hour, with a colon or a dot. The date sits over a notched rule beside the weekday bar, today marked. A second time zone from forty cities changes for summer time by itself. THE RIM Fine minute ticks, a seconds sweep, a goal ring for any of 87 metrics, or none. THEMES HUD, Night Ops, Stealth, Arctic, Ranger, Signal, Desert, Hazard, Cobalt, Titanium, Red Ops and Amber Ops each recolour the whole face. A night theme can take over from sunset to sunrise, and the Custom theme is built from your own two colours. STATUS AND BATTERY Do not disturb, the phone connection, the alarm and notifications with the unread count, and a segmented battery bar with the percentage. ALWAYS ON The always-on display is burn-in safe: the clock, the date, the battery, the two edge gauges as fine lines and the status cues you choose, in four brightness levels. Its clock can match the dial, stay neutral, follow the theme or take any of forty colours. SETTINGS Everything above is in the watch face settings in the Garmin Connect IQ app, in 18 languages. On the watch itself you can change the theme, the night theme, the layout, the font, the clock and the rim. The time and date, the status cues, the always-on and every slot's colour are there too. Pick any of 760 colours on a colour wheel for every colour setting, including the colours of your own theme.

New Activity totals: running, cycling, swimming, walking or all-activity distance or time, over the last 7 days or this month, in any data slot.
