Description
A Garmin wearable app for displaying information from evcc (https://evcc.io), an open-source software package for solar charging of electric vehicles. For details on settings, interface, and troubleshooting, visit: https://evccg.metiq.com Connectivity (must read!) Garmin wearables depend on a smartphone for network access. If you use a VPN solution like Tailscale on your phone to connect to evcc, the watch can access it as well. With iOS phones, the evcc HTTP interface is supported. With Android phones Only HTTPS is supported, requiring a valid certificate. To enable HTTPS for evcc, you can set up a reverse proxy (e.g., NGINX or Synology DiskStation) and obtain a free SSL certificate from Let's Encrypt. Legacy Devices Since v2.0.0, the following devices are no longer supported: Fenix 6 and 6 Pro, Forerunner 745 and 945, and Vivoactive 3. If you are using one of these devices, you can switch to the evcc Legacy app. It will continue to receive bug fixes and compatibility updates for breaking changes in the evcc API, but no new features. https://apps.garmin.com/apps/8bde22e8-7b1a-4b0d-88c7-7fb84baa15f5
