Description

A simple widget to control your Home Assistant entities and scenes. Simply add your scenes, login and easily trigger them from the widget. A full description and setup instruction is available at this link: https://github.com/hasscontrol/hasscontrol#hasscontrol This widget requires a paired phone and Home Assistant instance available over HTTPS. (HTTPS is a requirement by Garmin) Getting started: After you have downloaded the app you need to go into the app settings in the ConnectIQ app on you paired phone. Configure the root url to your Home Assistant instance, has to start with "https://". To configure the scenes that you want to have available in the app, simply add them comma separated. If the entity id to your scenes would be "scene.light_up" and "scene.good_bye" it would result in the following string: "light_up,good_bye" You can also customise the display name by using the follow structure of your scene string: "light_up=Light Up,good_bye=Good Bye" Optional: Setup a group with a few entities in Home Assistant and add the group id to the settings page in the ConnectIQ app. You can then import that group into the watch, from the widget settings. Notes: - The default start view is scenes, if you only imported entities such as lights, switches etc. they will not show up on the start page. The start view can be changed from the widget settings on the watch. Login: When you first trigger a scene or login from the widget menu make sure that you FIRST open the Garmin Connect app on your paired mobile device. The app must be opened before you initiate the login process on the watch (by triggering a scene or logging in from the menu) If you already have initiated the login process before you opened the Garmin Connect app and no login request appears on your phone, just restart the widget by holding the back button on your watch and the restart the procedure.
