# Changelog ## v0.12.1 — 2026-10-30 **Glance: full-height chart.** The load chart now fills the glance's height. Today's numbers sit in a column over its oldest days, each in its line's colour: fitness, form (in its zone colour), fatigue. The header line and the data age are gone. Single-line glance modes show just their one number. **Polar load page: fitness and fatigue up front.** Fitness and fatigue take the widest row of the centre, as large as fits inside the chart; form and its zone sit together below. ## v0.12.0 — 2026-10-30 **Data pages redrawn as sparkline tables.** Recovery, sleep, body, fuel and how-you-feel used to be grids of number tiles with 25px labels, and on most accounts half the tiles read `--`. Each page is now a table, one row per metric: the name and unit, a 30-day sparkline, and today's value, large, on the right. The sparkline shows the metric's normal range (its 30-day mean ± one standard deviation) as a grey band with the latest reading as a coloured dot, so whether today is unusual is visible at a glance, not just what today is. All rows share one time axis, so a bad night lines up with the HRV dip below it. The 1-4 scales (sleep quality and the how-you-feel entries) draw a bar per day, taller and warmer the worse the day. Metrics with nothing logged in 30 days are left out instead of shown as dashes, and the rows that remain grow to fill the page, up to four per page. Labels on a page share one size and values another, so the rows read as a table. A page with a single metric shows it large, with its sparkline across the screen and its 30-day range; if the metric has not changed in that time, just the name and value. The form page keeps its big form number and zone, with fitness and fatigue below as sparkline rows; ramp rate annotates the fitness row. The status page is a two-column list. **Bigger text everywhere.** No text is smaller than 28px on a 454px watch (about 6% of the screen width on every model), against 15-25px before: page headers, row labels, the centre readouts of the round charts, chart axis labels, the zoom and link prompts. The round-chart centres (window, range) are set larger still. The round charts themselves are unchanged. **Polar load page: fitness, form, fatigue in one row.** Fitness and fatigue now flank the form value at the same size, each in its curve's colour, in place of the small "Fit 48 / Fat 47" line underneath. The colour is the label. **Smooth zone bands.** The form-zone bands behind the load charts had a sawtooth edge, most visible on the green band of the polar chart. Each band was painted as thick overlapping strokes, and each stroke's lower zones covered the edge of its neighbour's upper ones. Each zone is now a filled polygon traced along its true edge, which also takes the polar chart from up to ~800 strokes to about 30 fills per frame. **Fitness and fatigue on the glance.** In the default fit+fat+form mode the glance now shows today's fitness and fatigue, in their lines' colours, over the oldest days of its chart, with form in the header as before. **Fixed: zooming past 30 days could crash MIP watches.** The 60-day history backfill that a zoom past 30 days triggers tripped the Connect IQ watchdog on a Forerunner 255 while merging, because the summary pass walked every field of every fetched day and sorted them all. Only the last seven days can contribute to it, so it now looks at no more. The crash is in v0.11.12. The sparklines need a short history of the data-page metrics, so the first sync after updating fetches the last 30 days once (one request). That history is kept apart from the glance's cache, so the glance loads no more than before.
