Description
Wind forecasts for kitesurfing, on the wrist. The watch picks the nearest spot on its own, from its GPS or the last position of an activity, then shows the coming hours at a 15-minute step: wind and gusts, rain and squall risk, hourly wind direction, tide when it matters, and the hours when the spot is rideable. A compass page shows the current wind around the watch. The glance sums up the wind and rideable hours from 6 am to 8 pm. Buttons: UP and DOWN switch between the forecast and the compass; START refreshes the position. Data: SpotTarget API (Météo-France and ECMWF models). The position stays on the watch: only the spot identifier is requested from the server. The phone must be nearby (Garmin Connect Mobile).
