Interval Stopwatch is a lap stopwatch that chimes at an interval you choose, in seconds or minutes (1 minute by default). Set it to 30 seconds, 45 seconds, 2 minutes, or anything in between. The dial ring fills up to the next chime, and the screen shows which interval of the current lap you are in (INT #3, for example). In seconds mode the ticks and the ALERT label turn amber, so you can tell the unit at a glance. Great for light interval training — and just as handy in everyday life, like when you step away from the kitchen while something simmers on the stove. To change the interval, open the app settings in Garmin Connect and pick Seconds or Minutes, then enter a number (5-7200 seconds or 1-120 minutes).
