Collect and display data from a "SmartRow" rowing power meter. This data field will collect power, distance, pace and stroke length from the rower power meter. After adding this data field to the indoor rowing app, it will connect to the power meter and cycle through distance, power and pace. Each metric will be displayed for two seconds. If you choose a layout with only one field, the force curve will be displayed. The connection is handled in the data field. Do not use the built-in "Add New Sensor" option since this is not a standard sensor supported by Garmin. Once the activity is saved, Garmin Connect will display graphs for distance, power, stroke length and pace. Currently, pace is displayed in seconds /500m. So 120 /500m is 2:00 /500m in minutes and seconds. The data field needs to be added to an existing activity after it has been downloaded to the device. I recommend adding to the Indoor Rowing activity for watches that support it. The data field will then display power, pace, distance, activity timer, heart rate and force curve on one screen. How to use: * Make sure no other device is connected to the power meter. * Open the indoor rowing app on the watch. * Pull the handle on the rower. * Wait until the watch connects. The signal strength will change from -99dBm. It may be necessary to briefly move the watch closer to the power meter while connecting. The blue lights will go off on the power meter when it is connected, and the watch will start cycling between distance, power and pace. * Now start the activity as per normal. * When finished, end and save the activity. Note about Distance: Garmin does not allow ConnectIQ data fields to update the distance field when saving data. Therefor this data field stores the distance in a Connect IQ field. You can edit the activity on the app or web after saving, and copy the Connect IQ Distance to the regular distance field. Having issues: Please don't use the reviews to report issues.
