Descrição
Barkline plans a low and slow barbecue backwards from the moment you want to eat. Pick the cut, the weight and your pit temperature, and it tells you when to light the fire, when the meat goes on, when to wrap and when to pull it, with the rest and a hold buffer already counted in. During the cook you type in the core temperature now and then. Barkline fits the heating curve to your own readings, recognises the stall and moves the finish time with it. Running late, it suggests a pit temperature that gets you back on time, and it buzzes when it is time to spritz, add wood, check the core, wrap or pull. WHAT IT DOES - Cook time for brisket, pork butt, spare ribs, baby backs, beef plate ribs, pork belly and lamb shoulder at any pit temperature - Backward plan from dinner time: fire, meat on, wrap, off, rest, eat - Stall forecast, with and without wrapping (Texas crutch) - Finish time that updates from your own core readings (exponential fit while heating, linear through and after the stall) - Suggested pit temperature when you are running late or early - Reminders to spritz, add wood, check the core, wrap, pull and end the rest - Core curve with the stall band, timeline page, °C/°F and kg/lb, five languages, and a glance with the finish time WHAT IT NEEDS - A meat thermometer to read the core temperature from; the watch does not measure it - Keep the app open for the reminders; nothing needs a phone or an internet connection
