My Training Zones is a customizable data field for running or other endurance sports that provides real-time feedback about your current training zone while running. Unlike most watches that use fixed heart rate zones, this data field lets you define your own training zone system. You can configure zone limits and labels for heart rate, pace, and running power, allowing you to use any zone model such as 3-zone, 5-zone, or 7-zone training systems. The data field shows your current running zone during the activity and records detailed zone statistics that can be analyzed later in Garmin Connect. You can switch the displayed metric (heart rate, pace, or running power) during the activity by pressing START/STOP twice. Also you can activate a vibration alarm for zone transitions. All three metrics are recorded simultaneously. Running power sensors such as STRYD can be connected directly via ANT+ ID, or you can use the power sensor paired with the watch. My Training Zones is ideal for runners who want full control over their heart rate zones, pace zones, or running power zones, and for athletes following custom training plans or coaching systems.
