Description
Gunter measures the area of a field, garden, paddock or roof with your watch, and tells you how sure it is. Instead of trusting one shaky GPS track, you stand on each corner for a few seconds while Gunter averages the fixes into one precise point. The area comes from those corners, and next to it you get an honest margin such as ± 42 m², worked out from how steady each corner was. Prefer to walk? Walk the edge and Gunter cleans the track, removes GPS jumps and straightens the lines before it closes the loop. The result screen shows the area in m², hectares, ares, acres, square feet or football pitches, plus the perimeter, the area on the slope when the ground isn't flat, and a warning when the edges cross. A built-in calculator turns the area into grass seed, fertiliser, paint, gravel, topsoil, turf rolls, fence posts, watering or horses per paddock. WHAT IT DOES - Corner mode: averages GPS fixes on every corner and weights them by signal quality - Walk mode: records the edge, removes spikes and simplifies the outline - Area with a ± margin (95 %), perimeter and live outline sketch - Area on the slope from the altitude of each corner - Warns about crossing edges and repeated corners, undo the last corner - Units: m², ha, are, acre, ft², football pitches - Calculator for seed, fertiliser, paint, gravel, topsoil, turf, fence posts, water and horses - Save, name, browse and delete measurements; glance with the latest result WHAT IT NEEDS - A watch with GPS and a clear view of the sky - A few seconds standing still on each corner for the best accuracy
