Description
Tenstop is an exposure calculator and bulb timer for long-exposure and night photographers. Meter without the filter, pick your ND strength, and it works out the shutter time; one tap starts a countdown on your wrist that vibrates at ten seconds, at 3-2-1 and at the end, so you can close the shutter without staring at a phone. For the night sky it uses the full NPF rule — pixel pitch, focal length, aperture and declination — next to the classic 500 rule, from up to three camera kits you set once. There is also a time-lapse planner and frame counter, a golden and blue hour countdown from your own position, reciprocity correction for Ilford and Kentmere films, and a log of your last exposures. WHAT IT DOES - ND filter time from 1 to 20 stops, starting from your metered shutter speed - Full NPF rule for sharp stars, plus the 500 rule for comparison - Bulb timer with vibration at 10 s, 3-2-1 and at the end, or a plain count-up - Time-lapse planner: clip length and frame rate to shots and interval, with a live frame counter - Golden hour and blue hour countdown for your location - Film reciprocity (Schwarzschild) with published factors for Ilford and Kentmere films - Three camera kits: sensor size, megapixels, focal length and aperture - Exposure log, five languages, and a glance with the running timer or the next golden hour WHAT IT NEEDS - Your metered shutter speed, read from the camera without the filter - GPS once for the golden hour times; everything else works offline on the watch - The timer vibrates only while the app is open
