Description
Trailmix works out whether the food in your pack will last until the next resupply. It learns your own daily pace from your check-ins and the distance your watch records, corrects it for the climbing in the section ahead, and turns your daily burn into the calories and grams you need to carry to town. Every evening you tell it where you are on the trail and roughly how much food is left, and it tells you if you are short or have food to spare. The home screen shows the days to your next resupply point and the expected arrival day. Swipe for the food balance with a clear advice line (eat a little less, walk a bit further, or room for a zero day), a chart of food on hand against the days to go, your pace and burn with where they come from, a what-if page for zero and nero days, and the next water stops. Everything is worked out on the watch. WHAT IT DOES - Days and arrival time to the next resupply point, from your own weighted pace of the last seven days - Climb correction in the style of Naismith, using the ascent of your history and of the section ahead - Daily burn from the watch, food needed in kcal and grams (the 120 kcal per ounce rule, adjustable) - Short or spare per day, with a plain advice line - What-if for extra zero and nero days - Chart of food on hand against days to resupply - Trip plan with resupply points (town, post office, store, cache, hut) and optional water stops - Kilometres or miles, five languages, and a glance with days and food balance WHAT IT NEEDS - Your resupply points as trail kilometre or mile, entered once from your guidebook or app - A daily check-in: position on the trail and food left - No phone, no account, no internet
What's New
Correcting your food no longer resets your position or pace, and the glance now counts down the days to your next resupply without opening the app.
