Peakflow Landmarks 640 metres of climb means little. "Twice up the Eiffel Tower" means everything. Peakflow Landmarks takes your climb and distance and puts them next to things everyone knows: the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Statue of Liberty, Cologne Cathedral, the Matterhorn, the Golden Gate Bridge, Central Park. Four pages • Today, this week, this month, this year – scroll up and down • Each page holds a stack of cards: tap for the next one, or let it turn by itself • Ten cards today, six for the week, four each for month and year Three kinds of comparison • Towers and mountains for your climb: your column and the landmark stand side by side at the same scale. If you are taller, you see it before you read the number • Bridges and routes for your distance: "seven times across the Golden Gate Bridge" • Loops for anything you can go around: "two laps of Central Park" Something different every day • 200 comparisons from the Brandenburg Gate (26 m) to Everest (8,848 m), from a football pitch to once around the Earth • Which cards are in today's stack depends on the date – tomorrow they are different • The app remembers the last sixty it showed and does not repeat them • Only comparisons that say something: between 0.3× and 30× • Units can be switched: follow the watch, metric, or feet and miles – on the watch itself via the MENU button In the glance • The carousel shows today's first card without opening the app. Which landmark it shows is picked the last time the app ran; the numbers are worked out by the carousel itself and are therefore always current The watch works it all out itself. No account, no phone, no connection – on a plane or on a glacier. Where it works: Everywhere. Climb needs a barometric altimeter; on vivoactive 5 and 6, Forerunner 245 Music and the Venu Sq models you therefore get distance and loop comparisons only. Week, month and year fill up from the day you install it, because the watch itself only keeps seven days and no climb data. ---
